You’ve probably heard of mobile anesthesia—but what actually happens when an anesthesia team shows up at your dental or oral surgery appointment?
At GMC Anesthesia, Inc., we pride ourselves on transparency, safety, and comfort. Here’s a look behind the scenes at how we deliver hospital-level care—right in your provider’s office.
Before Your Procedure
You’ll receive pre-operative instructions, including:
- Fasting guidelines
- Medication restrictions
- Transportation requirements (you’ll need a driver!)
Our team will review your medical history, answer your questions, and confirm you’re ready for safe anesthesia care.
Setting the Stage
We arrive early to:
- Set up hospital-grade monitoring equipment
- Prepare medications
- Coordinate with your dentist or oral surgeon
All of this happens behind the scenes—so when you walk in, everything is ready for a smooth experience.
During the Procedure
Once you’re comfortable, we’ll begin sedation or anesthesia. Throughout the procedure, our anesthesia team:
- Monitors your breathing, heart rate, and vital signs
- Adjusts anesthesia levels for maximum safety and comfort
- Stays with you at all times
You won’t feel pain—and depending on the level of sedation, you may not remember anything at all.
After the Procedure
Once the procedure is complete, you’ll be gently awakened and moved into recovery. We stay with you until you’re stable, alert, and ready to go home. You’ll leave with clear post-op instructions and support information.
A Safer, Easier Way to Receive Care
Mobile anesthesia allows you to complete complex dental or surgical care without the stress of hospital scheduling or long waits. Our mission is to make your experience safer, easier, and more comfortable from start to finish.
