Anesthesia Services

At GMC Anesthesia, we bring safe, hospital-level anesthesia care directly to your practice. Led by Gram M. Cotton, DNAP, MBA, CRNA, NSPM-C, APNP, we specialize in mobile, office-based anesthesia services for dental and outpatient clinics across Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Our mobile approach allows patients to receive care in familiar surroundings while giving providers the support and equipment needed to perform procedures safely and efficiently — without the limitations of a hospital setting.

We partner with dental offices, oral surgery practices, and ambulatory surgical centers to deliver personalized anesthesia care that enhances patient comfort, reduces anxiety, and ensures safety at every step.

Our Anesthesia Services

Below is an overview of the anesthesia services we provide. Each links to a detailed page explaining how the service works, when it’s used, and what patients can expect.

Local Anesthesia:

Local anesthesia numbs a small, specific area — such as a tooth or section of skin — so treatment can be completed comfortably while the patient remains awake.

“Gram brought a sense of calm to a very stressful situation. Our special needs son needs anesthesia before dental treatment, and Gram made the process easy for both him and us.”⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bert Cattoni

Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) and IV Sedation:

MAC and IV sedation combine pain management with relaxation, allowing patients to stay comfortable while breathing on their own. Ideal for outpatient procedures performed in-office.

“I have had the good fortune to work with Gram for the past 4–5 years. He has a great chairside manner and has consistently provided high-quality care for our patients.”⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Vijay Parmar

Regional Anesthesia:

Regional anesthesia numbs a specific part of the body, such as an arm or leg, while patients remain awake and comfortable. It provides excellent pain control for longer procedures and is easily performed in a mobile, office-based setting.

“Gram was very professional the entire time and is a top-notch anesthesiologist! Great bedside manner, efficient, and attentive to every detail.”⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Kurt Walejko
