About GMC Anesthesia
About GMC Anesthesia
GMC Anesthesia was founded in 2007 on the belief that outpatient settings deserve the same quality of anesthesia care as hospitals. That founding principle drives everything we do.

Our founding
From a single standard to a full team
GMC Anesthesia was established in 2007 by Gram M. Cotton, a dual board-certified CRNA and nurse anesthesiologist with clinical expertise in chronic pain management, holding a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesiology Practice and an MBA in Healthcare Management.
Gram founded the practice to bring hospital-level anesthesia standards to office-based and outpatient settings — filling a real gap in how dental and surgical practices access qualified anesthesia support.
What began as a solo practice has grown into a team of board-certified CRNAs operating under the same clinical standards that defined GMC from the start. Every provider on our team is held to the same protocols, monitoring requirements, and safety standards.
That consistency — not any single individual — is the GMC standard.
Our team
Board-certified CRNAs
Every GMC provider is a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist trained in office-based anesthesia. We don’t send generalists — we send specialists who understand the operational realities of dental and surgical practices.
